Dear Brother
it is with pleasure that I seat my self this evning to answer your kind letter wich I recieved some time a go and was very glad to heare from you once more but was sorry to heare of mother being sick but was glad to heare of her getting better as for my self I hant been very well for some time but I feel puty well to day I think if I dont get a back set I will get a long buly for dont get a back set
 
Well Jack I hardly no what to write as there has nothing new been going on heare since I last wrote to you but I think that time will / chang be fore long for the weather is getting nice and warm and it is coming the time of year that we general move in these parts and I think it will be a big move when it doze come but I dont no wich way it will be the health in the company is prety good at presant and has been all winter as good as it ever was since we been out and thank the lord that we hant got to stay out a nother winter with out we reinlist wich I dont think we will
 
father was saying that he wanted me to send hom one of the reccord of the company I would send it with pleasure if I cold get it but I cant get eny at presant if I would a new it a little sooner I cold a got all I would but I did not like them very well / and so I did not get eny but I think I can get some after while that will suit me better how are you better well with these few lines I will close hoping these few lines may find you all well write soon and tell me all the news nothing more at presant but remain your
