we are just in receipt of the following dispatch
12½ O'clock
Manchester. Captn Geigold and all the men that went from Aurora will be here in half an hour. They have had a fight. The Rebels cut our forces in two. Send the balance of our Cavalry out on the Manchester Pike to Manchester and let them keep comeing until they fall in with us. I will leave a messenger at Manchester to inform them which way to go
Hurry up we will give them fits yet
