Simeon C. Wilkerson to Nancy Bryson, 15 November 1863
Camp 18th Ala. Rgt.
November 15th 1863.
My Dear Wife,
I will send you some of your letters. I wish you would put them where I could get them if I should be so unfortunate as to have to give my darling up before I can see her again, for it will be pleasant to have them to read in after life if I cannot spend it with you. I wrote yesterday will write again as soon as I get a letter from you. You have never told me whether you received my letter from Marietta or not. I am well and I still love my little wife as well as I ever did and that is just as hard as it is possible for me to love any one. From your affect husband Sim
