My Dear William,

                                    I am here and having a good time, I am just now in a great drive as it is 9 AM and I have had no breakfast, and have got a deal to do before noon as I return via Fall River this PM. It is more to keep my promise than anything else that I write this. I saw Forrest in Hamlet at Niblo's Friday night. Trust I shall see you on Thursday next.
