Circular
            I. Lt. Gen Polk, with the Right Wing, will move at 2 P.M. to day beyond opposite Chickamauga Station, and resting his right at the point, will form his line, extending up the west side of the River.
            II. Lt. Genl Longstreet, with the Left Wing, will move so soon as the Right Wing clears the road, and connecting his right with Genl Polk's left, take position up the stream.
            III. General Hd Qrs will be established at Red House Ford on the Chickamauga.
            IV. The main body of both Corps of the Cavalry will press close / up to the enemy, and gather in all his stragglers.
            V. Each Corps of Cavalry will detach two Regiments to our rear and gather up the stragglers from this Army, and all arms left upon the field.
            VI. All prisoners will immediately be sent to Atlanta. the wounded will be sent as rapidly as possible to Hospitals in the rear.
            VII. All Corps wagons will be brought to the Chickamauga, placed in rear of their respective commands. The general supply train will be sent to Red House Ford.

General:
            The Genl. Comdg. desires that you will at daylight tomorrow, send a Division from your command on the Chickamauga Station Road to press upon the enemy & drive him as far as possible. Cavalry will be upon your flank to protect it.
            The General is advised that large numbers of arms & munitions of war are scattered throughout the country in front. He desires that every effort shall be made to collect & save them.

            The Genl Comd'g. requests that you order the Ordnance Officers of your command immediately to work collecting the guns, accoutrements, &c. lying upon the battle-field. They will be piled in places convenient to the wagons, and carried to Alexander's Bridge.
