Dear Sister
Inclosed I send you thirty five dollars ($35) by Adams Express I have not the time to write much as Capt David of Co G is going to Aquia Creek immediately to express the money for those of the regt who wish to send We drew eight days rations the other day & were going to move the next day but could not on account of wet weather we still drew daily / rations so that the eight may be kept on hand, how soon we will move now I do not know
