Dear Sister:
I arrived at this place on the 25th inst. And was mustered into the service for one year. Am in the 213th Regt. P. Vols This regiment was raised in Phila and is known there as the 7th Union League The principle Surgeon of this regt. is a fine man and has been in the service before and hence is acquainted with the "ropes"
Am well. I will write to you in a few days & give you all the particulars. Your brother
