Dear Sister:
As the oil business fever is at its height, and as they have formed a company to commence operations you might as well take a share. Pay for one share, and I'll give the half. If they should be so fortunate as to find oil, it may pay; if on the other they are not successful the loss won't be great.
I may go to Washington on Tuesday or Wednesday to see the great parade. Did you get those books down from Ziegler's, and return some to Dr Blair? /
I rec d a letter from Aunt Elizabeth Ogden; also one from Mary Meyers—Lewisburg. About the oil affair, you don't need to mention that I suggested this proposition.
Don't confine yourself too closely; take exercise in the open air regularly. Open your doors, and let the sunshine stream in upon you; throw up your window blinds, and let the light penetrate your windows.
These are the rules to be observed: Sunshine, exercise, bathing & friction. Take all the horse-back exercise you can get.
Am well.
Your brother
