William H. Weirick to Mary A. Weirick, 19 July 1865
Med. Dept. 213th Regt Penna Vols.
Camp Parole Annapolis Md.
July 19th 1865.

Dear Sister:
I was relieved from duty in the 1st Separate Brigade Middle Dep't. 8th A.C. and ordered to report to my reg't. I have done so, as you will see from the heading of this letter.

Camp Parole is very dull, there being but two comp. of our reg't. here, the others have gone to the Relay House. All the paroled prisoners have left; the hospital is being broken up & all things connected with it are being sold. To-morrow there is to be a sale of 50 horses & 40 mules belonging to the government, & which are connected with this camp. I think we will be sent / away here next week and in all probability will be discharged before long.

Have no news, consequently don't know what to write. I merely write to let you know of my whereabouts.

Write soon

Y'r Brother
W. H. Weirick

P.S. I recd the $10.00 you sent me some time ago. Did I tell you before?
