Post Hospital
Relay House Md B & O. R.R.
Aug. 2nd 1865

Dear Sister:
I left Camp Parole one week ago. Am here in charge of the hospital at this place.

Dr Rice who had charge of it is mustered out of service, & every thing was turned over to me. I am going to make a request to have the hospital broken up, as the brigade is done away with, & in consequence of which no hospital will be required. Will send such patients as are not able to join their regiments to Gen. Hospital. I merely write to let you know of my / whereabouts.

Write soon.
