William H. Weirick to Mary A. Weirick, 19 August 1865
Camp Parole Md.
August 19th 1865
Dear Sister:
Some time ago I sent you $150.00 from the Relay House, & also sent you a letter: did you get the letter & the money? Please write to me at this place immediately in reference to it.
I arrived at this place on the 14th Inst. Have no news of importance to communicate you, as all is dull. I think if every thing goes right our reg't will be mustered out of service before a great while.
I should like very much to get out in time to attend Lectures.
Please inform me where / Ziegler is. Has he returned from the Army, & if so whether he lives in town?
Give me all the news when you write
Your brother
W. H. Weirick
