Springfield Ohio Dec. 12th 1886
Mr Adam & Esther Fry
Dear Brother & Sister
It is a long time since we either wrote to you or heard from you. And I suppose it is not as it ought to be. I had by moving last your address—I got your address from Henny once but before I wrote to you I had mislaid his letter and so it was gone again—
I can assure you we were glad to hear from you I supposed you were alive for if dead we would have heard that, even though we did not hear from you while you were living. We have lived here in Springfield over 9 years.—Since hear our / family has grown up and nearly all have left us—Albert the youngest of the family is living in Gunnison Colo. James the oldest is now in Grand Junction in Colo. But expects to spend the winter in Denver. Wallace is married and is living here in the city. Nee has two children—Eva (Lib.) is at home she is teaching 6 miles from the city. After the holidays she will teach in the city.
I have served as Financial Agent of Wittenberg College for for over 9 years. This year if I can I propose to leave this work and do something else. Three of the children—i.e. James, Eva and Albert are graduates of the College
We are enjoying fair health
