Naomi B. Libby (maiden name unknown) was born around 1816 in Maine. She married Hiram Libby, and they had at least two children: Winfield, born around 1838; and John, born on September 19, 1842. They lived in Carthage, Maine, and her husband worked as a farmer. They moved to Dixfield, Maine, in the 1850s, and by 1860, they owned $1,000 of real estate and $500 of personal property. The couple got divorced in August 1863, but they were still living together in 1870. She died on July 11, 1881.
