John F. Libby to Unknown, 24 February 186X
Feb. 24th
result   I wrote over another sheet last night, but after looking it over this morning I concluded to burn it up. And, finally, I don't know but this will be enough. There does not appear to be any thing of interest in it.

My health, spirits and courage are as good as I could wish and I am well contented

Give my love to Mother and tell her to keep / up good spirits and not worry about me.

Abbie is sick I hear please write how she is. Keey up your courage and be careful of your health. Get in as much of a crop as possible for if nothing happens, I shall be in good trim to do a hard summers work. I shall look for some mail to night I think I should have two or three at least. I have written oftener latly for I have had more time.
