Dear Sister
I hope you will excuse me for neglecting so long to answer your letter but the fact is there is nothing here of importance to write about and as I have writen to some one of the family every week I thought likely that you would see or hear the letters and that might answer all purposes.

I dont know of anything of interest to write this time but I supose you are all anxious to hear from me every week wether there is any news to write or not. I have been expecting for the last two or / three days to get a letter from some one of you at home and as I have not recieved any yet or the paper I thought I would write this afternoon so that you might recieve the letter this week. I recieved Paulinas letter last monday morning but that was writen last week and I have been very anxious to get another one from some one of the family because I am very anxious to hear from my money that I sent last week. if any of the family write within a few days I wish that they would be particular and mention wether or not my money has reached home and if not I can go to the Express Office and see about it /

I recieved a letter from Aunt Rebecca yesterday morning and answered it this morning she says she is very anxious to see or hear from me and wants I should get a furlough and go home and stay a while she says that she will come here and go home with me if I will go. I told her that I was very much oblidged to her for the offer that she had made but then I told her just the same as I have the rest of you that I did not want to go home untill I went for good. she was very anxious to know my doctors name and so I told her. I expect now before a great while that she will be writing to him, if she does I hope that she will be / a little more particular about her spelling than she generally is if not I guess the doctors will laugh at it. I am about the same but I have got the diarrhea a little this week but none of any acount. I dont think of anything else to write and I have allready writen more than I expected I should when I sat down to write. give my respects to all the folks. I will now close by biding you good bye for a few days
