Dear wife After my best love to you and children I drop you a few lines wich I trust may find you all well as it leaves me well at this time do take care of your self and children for me I will come home the first chance I get I would of tride and got off this week but I had to go on picket I will take care of my self for you and you must do the same for me write soon as you can I will try and come home next week if possible kiss Pahs boys for him Pah sent the little dog by moris take care of it and rais some little dog for it and Cadet Pah wil get off soon as he can Pray for me my dear wife I must close good by my sweet ones good by sugar ones Henry Hill /
Dear wife Tel Dave that Benton did not get off time anuff so Ben Spell said he can git as many from him as he wants at 15 cts per lb they aint very fat now they was fat but they fell so if he wants them he can send Jas at them he will wait as long for the money as he wants HHill
