Dear wife after my best love to you and children i seat my self this eaving to drop you a few lines wich i trust may find you all well as it leaves me well as common i have nothing of much importance to write at this time we are still in town and expect to stay hear we will moove to morrow hear up in town near the northeastern Rail Road Depot wher we can fix our selves better Gist Brigade went to Tenisee this eaving I seen Sid Hyatt and talk with him he dont like the idea of going off Dear Sugar you must not be oneasy about me I will take the best care of my self that I can I dont think we will go off enyy way they aint enny danger of it they are sending all the infantry of and they will have to keep ous hear or on the coast some where / I would be mity glad if i could see you all once more I hope my time will soon come for me to get my furlow to come home and see my sweet ones the peple thinks the war will soon end now the yankeys will make war with france and Englan Dear one we have preaching evry nite and pray meeting There is three preachers in the house that we stay in Brother Cambel is a splendid preacher and a good man he is a baptist preacher from Spartin berg Dear one you better get that woman to stay with you and may god bless my sweet ones at home and hasten the time when I can be with you to part no more tel death and may we be reddy for that trying ous when it comes I will send you some more money soon as we draw it My Dear pray for your Loving Husband untel death May god be with you is the prayr of your sweet one H.
