My dear wife and children this will in form you that I am sick but not bad I am not confind to bed so you need not be oneasy about me I hope the Lord will be with me if you cant I have rote and sent 18 apples and Jameses pass and one for Charles Hill you must send down and get them

Ben Risher has got 8 days furlow. Send me some preserve by James when he comes Let pahs little man come with his oncle James Tel Anne I have sent her a Prayer Book and Hym Book I will send one for little James and George too Ant Bet has the things saved there I wont rite much this time as I have rote all reddy The doctor give me some Calomel and Rubarb and Aloes this morning wich made me feel very sick I am going to try and get detached to make shoes for / for the government. I think I will get a big price for my horse I wont take less than 500 or 600 dollars rite My dear wife I hope this may reach you all well Let me hear how you get a long with with the the cain and every thing els May the Lord be with you all and keep you from all harm bless my little ones Pray for me.
