My dear wife after my best love to you and little ones I trust this may find you all well I am far from well yet I have the fever constantly and hed ache but I am getting better My hed is all blistered up with mustard the skin is off of my forehead and very sore I have such a coft and so raw in side it would not take much to give me pneumonia but I dont have to expose my self eny now I am detached in camp to fix shoes My dear wife you must take good care of your self and little ones dont expose your self more than you can My dear wife you must not be oneasy about me the Lord is my help and I shal not want
We have seen the last of the year and what shal we render unto the Lord for all his kindness towards ous our harts, I hope
My dear wife this is several that I have rote and got very few from my sweet darling you must rite often and more and long letters to See Mah and say to her if she wants me to take Moris and can let him stay the year I will take him and glad of it at 15 dollars per mont but if Mah cant spair him in the summer it would not be worth while to get him. the same mess is anxious for him and told them I would rite and see what is the conclusion So my dear see Mah rite off and let me now as soon as posible they want to no this week written or not they are cooking themselves now Tel Mah let me no all about it and soon dont neglect it My dear pray for me I think the war will end in 7 monts more rite soon nothing more but I remain your Loving Husband untel death We aint mooved yet nor not much like to hear of it H Hill
