My dear wife this will in form you that i am well and hope this will reach you in due time and find you all well we are know resting nothing to a waiting the moovment of the enemy I think the fighting is over with all most My dear the mail is waiting on me know I have not got a letter since the 28 of May I am anxious to hear from you all and more I am looking every day for a letter from you tell all houddy for me I will write every time i get the chance to doo it I will try and get paper to morrow then I can rite all the news Every 2 or 3 days doo my dear write some comfort to me if it was not for the hope that i have in Christ i could / i could not stand it
I must close pray for me tell the children Houdy for me
nothing more but I remain your Loving
