Dear wife I received your letter 2 this morning at once one from Mah and 2 from you. My dear wife I trust this will find you all well and in good condition all our times is still hard here but my box the old Lady sent me is not gone yet. I hope the old Lady will send me another box be fore long My dear you did not rite to me wether you got any cow or not or bot eny cows or not My dear if you can git eny cows at 30$ you better by one or 2 I will try and git a pass and come home as soon as I get little James boots done / My dear you must take care of your loving self and little ones. I taken up a man but did not get a furlow yet I am going to try I have 16 names and the authority to take them if I can get a pass for 10 hours I will see what I can doo with it Just do the best you can William Tumbleston will be baptised at 3 oclock this eaving we have a fine meeting going on now I reckon that there was 200 men went up to be praid for last nite may the Lord bless you and little ones keep you from all harm and save ous at last nothing more but I remain your Loving Husband untel Death
