My dear wife this will in form you that I have been quite sick since I got back I taken the fever as soon as i got back and it has not been off yet though i feel heep better this morning I hope i will soon be well a gain dont be oneasy about me My dear you better gether up all the money that you have and get James to buy it up in lether for me I will try and make it back again it will be all counterfit after the last of April I dont want 20 year bonds I dont expect to live so long dave has some and Bart and Akerman take as much as you want / to spend rite off I will get the new money by the last of April. I think my dear the best plan is for ous as 20 year bonds wont be worth eny thing to ous is to buy it up in lether and I can make it in shoes and get new money for it you better attend to it at once. My dear I hope to hear from you soon you better doo as i say May the Lord be with ous they are going to reduce our Co down to 95 men uncle William will have to go and all that join last.
