Genl Orders

            N^o 44   II. Geo W. Hubbert Jr. 2^nd Lieut elect of Co I. 8^th Mo Infty having passed a satisfactory examination before the examining Board of Parsons Division, of which Col S. P. Burns is President is assigned to duty as Jr 2^nd Lieut of said Company to date from August 6, 1864. He will immediately assume the badge of his rank and be known and respected accordingly.
