William Hubbert
William Hubbert was born on February 3, 1818, in Tennessee. He eventually moved to Missouri, and he married Nancy Ann Lee on October 7, 1843. They had at least five children: George, born on October 14, 1844; Thomas, born on April 20, 1847; James and Amy, born on June 15, 1850; and Darius, born on December 19, 1856. They lived in Barry County, Missouri, and he performed “cabinet work.”
 
By 1860, he was working as a clerk of the court in Cassville, Missouri, and he owned $1,200 of real estate and $300 of personal property. He probably served in the Confederate army. He returned to Cassville after the war, and he worked as a carpenter. By 1870, he owned $100 of real estate and $400 of personal property. His wife died on March 20, 1876. He eventually moved to Berryville, Arkansas, and he died there on July 24, 1894.
