Dir Brother I again seat myself in order to answer yore letter recieved a fiew days ago I am still unwell but I halve improved a grate deel for the last fiew days I think by the next time I wright that I can use the word well I was glad to learn that you and yore famuley was well that Scott was giting well I recieved a letter from James Crawford one from T. Wynn one from Uncle Bellfield I wish you had the latter I wish it could bee that all that are dere to me could live to see me and I them this is all off my truble From yore last letter & J Crawfords you all must git a heep of nuse one looking for me home the other thought I was exchanged I halve come to the conclusion not to believe any thing I hear from yore letter I think you was going to send me some money by male dont send much in that way by a litle truble you can send it by express ther is an express office at Nashville it will cost 25ct or 50ct to git it brought to me I know you are busiley employed at worke but you can git some one that is going to Nashville to do it for you it will bee certain to come & iff I should not bee her it would come back to you I was sorry to hear that Father was sick I hope he is by this time he is well I halve at this time seven Dollers 
 
Father forgive me for wrighting to you that I had no money and was borrowing from my friends I halv not borrowed any I halve had a plenty all the time by sacrifizeing my Tenn money at 50ct to the Doller I halve bin as saving as I could you wrote for me to state how Capt Mayes is he is well when I git a letter from you he never asks me how Brother Henry is. he knowes he is sick. he is no friend of myan I hope thes lines may find you and yore famuley well and all off my connection Give my respects to J. Jackson
