Mr Cornelius Bell Der brother it is with pleasure I wright you these fiew lines I am not to say well nor sick I halve a very bad calf I do not know whether it is coal or not my apitite is good I halve missed giting a letter from you this week I halve bin looking for a letter from James Crawford & Thos Wynn you stated that the Dr sayed he was going to wright in a day or so you can tell him that I halve not recieved a line from him yet I recieved a letter from the boys yestarday ther health was tolerably good Henry Moudy is dead J. M. Pinson Clay Elmore are in the hospital. Capt. R E Mayes is well and the balance of the 30th at this place are well. Tell the Dr if he has recieved and insulting letter with my signature it was a forge and to wright to me if you want me to git yore letters wright them short as my brother is sick I want to hear from you once a week I hope when thes fiew lines come to hand they will find you and yore famuley well and our Father and Mother enjoying the same blessings and all of our folks
