I send you a letter from the Goveror to Col John A Wilcox a bout your camppe it is not worth while for me to say eney thing about what the Goveror said to mr wilcox for you will see it
that I have no dout but your men will be received for thay will be a call for many more men in this State you and your men may look out as thay want one Rejment of inferent and one Rejment Artilatrey and I gess you nor non of your men wish to be long to the foot Companey thoug it is all most serten that the State will call out a nother Rejment of mounted men as war is declard all parteys is maken preperation for war. nothing more as you will hear all a bout the war by this mail. we ar all well yours Respt / fule write soon
