I have riten a few lines to Father this morning and I have a little more spare time now I will send you a few lines also I am well and getting along fine I was out of Camp this morning and got my breakfast down town got plenty of pyes and cakes. we ar ordred to leave here to morrow morning at five Oclock we shall take down our tents / I am glad of it. I expected to hav been at home on the fourth but it was imposible I did not enjoy it verry well we had to be on duty most of the day but the best of it was we had beans and vinegar for our dinner good anough for a soulger. the Ladies of Fondulac have given us to picknicks sence we hav been here and thay have made us a good many presants consisting of testaments, towels needle cases &c.
I have riten to Father and sent Thirty Dollars in the letter tell him to drop me a line as soon as he receives it
