I think your faith is small Dear one in my coming back I should have made provision for you—forgive me for not doing it. I will do something for you I offered I think to deed you the house & lot garden spot &c the time when it was deeded to me, but you refused it did you not sweet loved one—But I will deed the same to you now & I would be willing you should have half of the rest if I do not come back. I have no blanks and I should make a mistake to write one from memory. you will have to fill one out & send or bring / it to me loved one for me to sign if you want to be sure & get it perhaps you better come & get yourself in a family way to keep it in the family, raise an heir to share with you the heritage I shall leave. Dear one if I do not come back you will draw a nice little pension from U Sam as long as you remain my worthy relict. But you would not want to always have my name would you sweet one would you! Now I am in a hury do not think I am offended at you for mentioning this matter. O! no I love you & I think if I could sleep with you tonight & keep you between me & the under sheets I would make you forget for a while the future in the delight of enjoying your dear love I should, and I hope & expect to some day, be both happy & in love / Now I will close I hope to morrow to get another letter & good loving one. forgive me if I have written anything bad as for me I cant afford to feel blue all the while could not stand the pressure I expect to see fight if I live all summer & hope for the best.
