I tak the plesure of droping you a few lines to let you no that I hav not fergot you all tho I hav not rote to you suner I will give you my excuse wich I think will bea a good one We hav bin a moven so much I hav not had time to write to mother as much as I out and I hope you will excuse me for not writing and I hop if thes few lines come to hand tha may meet you well and in the best of hops of this ware coming to a close and al we whom has left our dear loved one may meet again to spend the rest of our time in meeting and singing as we has don in days that has past and gon a if we cold meet and see the plesure that we hav seen / O what a hapy time it wood bea to me I hop the time may spedly com when I can com home to see you and all the rest of my friends the time seam mity long sens I saw you and I am afraid it will seam longer be for we will see eacher yet it apearse from what we hear the ware has just bedgon But it is bin a ould saiying the hotter war suner peace I dont think it work somow I hop if this come to hand you may ancer it as sune as you can and giv me all the nuse you can and giv my love and best respect it seam lik we cant git a letter from home I hav rote sum 2 or 3 home and hav not receaved a letter from home in so long I hav fergot how long it has bin and if you so bee at eney of my foalks tel them I am well as I hav nothing funny to write I will close for this tim
