Abby J. A. Bunker
Abby J. A. Bunker (maiden name: Thompson) was born on January 24, 1836, in Barnstead, New Hampshire, to Stephen J. Thompson and Nancy Griffin. Her father was a farmer who owned $1,200 of real estate in 1850. Her mother died in July 1840, and her father followed on June 9, 1852. She married William H. Bunker around 1855, and they had at least two children: Mary, born around 1856; and Frederick, born around 1861. She died in Durham, New Hampshire, on May 4, 1867.
