Dear parents we received your letter and was glad to here from you. We got ugene letter the same day. i come off gard this morning it was puty rainy I have to go on gard once in four days. We have some puty good time here the Battery boys have got a foot ball We kick most evry night. the 14th Battery went of last monday prescott White was in it. When you send that box put in some apples butter cheese pies not cakes you need not put my shirts because we shal have a furlow before we go of. you said you wanted to know the names of the oficers /
