Well Sister I find myself seted this evening for the purpose of writing to you to let you know how our health is it is very good at present I beleave as for my family they ar all well it is a genriel time of health hear in our visinity I beleave I surpose you will think strange of my writing again so soon but never mind I shall rite every chance I get and I want you to do the same I surpose you have got a leter from me of late and now I am agoing to rite to let you know how I spent thanksgiven well Lissie in the first plase Alvin and I went Wensday eve over to Robert Huntres and stayed all night the next morning we went down and took aunt Elisabeth and then we started for the hill and what do you think they was a doing well Belinda was a stufing a turkey Ann was fixing a chicken pie and Susan was a mixin bread and the children was all standing round Farther / was in his room a tring to sing a litle well then we started for Ally house we found the slaing rather hard for some of the rocks grovld a litle when we hit them but never mind we was bound to take diner with sister Ally and her family and when we got ther what do you think she was about well I tell you she was as crasy as a owel she was a bacing to she had got a great plume poding and the way that the pies flew in the oven it was a caution to olde foks and then she went out and the chickens had to hop I tell you we had a grand good time the girls had got home we did not forgit you and Brother we all as one thought that we would like to know what Sis had for her thanksgiven diner if wishing wou had brought you and Brother you would ben with us but it would not I was glad to hear that you had gon to houskeeping I want you to rite how you like it how glad I should be if I could run in and say take tea with you both / but that privelage I cant have at present well I hope that you have got some good neibours I want you to rite all the perticklers about your farm and what kind of a house you live in well I dont know as I have any news in pertickler only they say that Mother is a going to move up to Waterborough I pitey her for the old house will be so cold this winter aunt E is agoing to break up this week and Mother is going to live ther I hope that she wont come untill spring and then have the house fixt fit to live in I must soon draw to a close your Farther Chadbourn I heard from to day he is very slim they think he failes of late we have had a quartly meting hear to day and Elijah and Malvina was down there I dont know as I have any thing more to rite only I do want to see both of you so bad that it semes as if I should fly ther I have spent many ours with you / sence you left maine in my imageon nation ther Sis if I could see you one oure I think it would [?] to rite it down you wanted to know wher uncle Rufus was he lives in Saco whear he has lived all the time they get along first rate now aunt Margret is as smart as a carot Olive and her man has ben over to see them I beleave ther you see my pen is all wore out and I will draw to a close by biding you both good by rite every chance you get and I will do the same for a leter from you chears my soul tell Brother I will rite to him next ther they have all gorn to bed and left me and the fire has all gorn out and i am cold we have a litle slaying hear this week for the first
