Dear Sister Lib
                        I received your last letter a week a go but I could not git time to write before. I was in Great Falls a week ago to day Sister Charlotte was buryed she die in kitty only sick five days Lib it was sum thing very unexpected to ous the last time I saw her she was fat & fare as a baby but the Dr said her right lung was all gown
 
Oh Lib I felt dreedfull I cant keep her out of my mind a moment. when I think just how we have lived for the last three / years. I always treeted Charlotte well once I was very cross to her & only once if I could recoll what I said then I would give any thing but it is to late you know Lib I had a great deal to put up with & yet if I could take back the few words I said to her I would put up with it all again & not complain well Lib I am sick to day & cant tell how I feel nor what the matter is all is I cant set up but a few minets at a time I feel bad all over. I think I have lost ten pound of flesh the last week.
 
Lib I have found out what became of your letter that had / the stamps in it. I gave it with three more to Emmer Jamson to take to the offes & she said she lost them all she dont know where I have had no time to do any thing I will git your mother sack as soon as I can.
I work in the shop
 
give my love to all I would like to see Darling & you & baby to night
