Dear Parents
                        I just received your letter dated June 14th and was glad to hear from you.
 
                        I have just wrote one to you but I had it all sealed and I could not open it and so I will send this in annother letter.
 
                        in your letter you wanted to know how mutch we had to pay for butter down here. we have to pay 40 cents a pound and sometimes 50. Sugar is worth 20. and Eggs 35 and 40 cents per dozen
 
                        Johney wickham is doing well at present four from our Company went to the General / Hospital at Fort monro to day they were all from Chery Creek
 
                        about sending Butter down to us I dont know about it being healthy but I dont think there will be anny chance to send mutch more
 
                        this is all I can think of at present
