I seat myself this morning to inform you that I am well and hope you are all well. we got to camp all safe and have got to business again.
                       
I am going to send you a $3.00 bill home that I got of John Erwin that we left Everton you will reckolect that he give me one bill on the State Bank of Ohio / It is counterfit and you will please go and get it changed for me Holmen wanted some money and I give him that bill. He went out in town and found it was counterfit. He gave it back to me and I will send it to you. you can tell John that this is the same bill that I got from him and as he got good money from me he ought to make this good so no more at presant hope you will write soon
