Dear father I am well and well satisfied I still continue sawing I have sawed some whare about forty Thousand feet of lumber and worked over a month bsides health is good around here I went into the store about the time I expected to when I was at home last I have clercked it two or three weeks and you may guess I was verry green at first I like clerking verry well but there is some danger of its makeing one get lazy if they dont watch I have nothing of much importance to write I want you all to excuse me for not writeing no sooner and write soon and let me hear from you all and hear how you are getting along
as I told you when I was at home I dont know precisely when I can get the chance to come home we have a verry late spring down here this year we have had severral thunder showers this spring down on the river.
I attend church at Crans Creek onc a month it is the nearest Baptist church and it has but 14 members 6 males 8 females but if the church is weak it has an able minister which I hope will be successful Mr. Weaver
No more at presen only I remain true to you all and I ask an intrest in your prayers for me and this little church which is weak now but I hope will be strong
