No. 61.
Woodville, April 20, /64

Dear Mollie,
I received your letter yesterday of April 10. I was glad to hear that you was all well. you say you have commenced keeping house. I hope you will enjoy your self but I am afraid it will cost you more than it would in Iowa. it costs a geadeal to go to house keeping. Len got a letter from home last week they were all well. Mary is teaching their school. their teacher was taken sick & she has taken his place. she will teach the summer school. Lens eyes are quite soar, he cant see to write I wrote a letter for him yesterday. you spoke about throwing away clothes & blankets. / thare are a great many thrown away but I have never throwen eny away yet I have the same blanket that I drew at camp haren & my clothes I havesent home. Clarence is quite a boy, it is as he says he will soon be a man if he lives. how I would like to see them both, but I must wait patiently my time of service is geting shorter & if I live I will see you again. thare fore be patient & the time will soon pass away. the weather is warm and pleasent we are having a grand review to day & it looks very much like a move to me, but perhaps not. we always have a review before we move. this road must be guarded & perhaps it will be our luck. I hope it may, for we have had all the marching we care about very soon. I have not heard from Dow yet / it may be that they have moved if I new that they had not moved I wouldgo & see him, but thare is no telling whare he is.

I havent any news to write that I no of, the boys are all on review except Vrooman & my self & it is very dull in camp. I would be out if my drum was in order. I am almost lost without it. I am in hopes you will send them heads soon. you must have my letter before this time I have writen in two letters about them. if you cant get them let me no as soon as you can. I think I can get them at Nashville.

I have not heard from Johns since you left only what you have writen. I wrote to them the first of March no more this time. I am well & hope this will find you all the same.

To Mollie From O Sibly, yours as ever good by.
