Dear Mollie,
Josaphine has been writing so I will write a fiew lines. I want you to ask mother if she will let me have fathers tools that is the square saw & plain. if she will you can box it up with your things. if Mother will let me have them colts I will raise colts from them & let her have one half of what I can raise & she can have the team in two or three years or I will buy them & pay what they are worth. it will be helping me & I think it will do her more good than any thing els she can do with them. it will be helping / me to improve our home & when I have one she can have if she wants it. when you see Hugh tell him that I am well & harty I am going to try & improve my place. I shall plough my breaking this fall & get out fensing this winter the worst will be for a house. I can build one for seventy five dollars that we can live in next summer & finish it in the fall. I havent got the money but I think Dow will let me have the money or some one els. no more this time,
