Monday Morning
we are all well as usual except John, he has a very bad headache.
 
Mary I think you had beter come by the way of the Junction, to go the other way you will be oblige to change cars at mindota & at Dixon. if you should come the same way that I did, you had better start in the morning, as the trains dont connect in the night. I got to mindota at 8 & laid over til one. I got to Dixon at 2 the same night & laid over til 2 the next day. it cost me seven dollars. you had beter start your things a day or two before you do.
 
breakfast is ready so I will not write eny more at present. good by

Mary I think you had beter have those old stubs of teeth taken out before you come out here. /
 
if you cant sell that drum you had beter express it, for it will come safer.

Mary I had intended to of wrote to you in this letter but I have not had time.
