Dear Beloved Wife
with the greatest of pleasure it is that I can once more enjoy the present oportunity of righting you a fiew lines to let you no that I am well and harty and I hope those fiew lines may find you all the enjoying the best of health
Well I wont have time to right but a fiew lines for I am going to go to Vicks Burg to take a lot of prisners to their regiments so I will have to close for this time nothing more but I remain your Dear Companion Hugh Bay
