Sarah Jennie King
Sarah Jennie King was born around 1841 in Ohio to David King and Almena Caldwell. Her father died around 1849. She grew up and attended school in Springfield. She never married, and she remained in her mother’s household until Almena died in 1878. The family owned $49,000 of real estate and $12,670 of personal property in 1860. After her mother died, she moved into her brother David’s household in Springfield. By 1900, she was living in her sister Mary’s household. She died in Springfield in 1927.
