Dear Companion it is with the gratest pleas that I take the oportunity to let you no that I am well and hope that these fiew lines may find you all enjoying the same blessing We are now exchanged and will leave here in about ten days and you will have to do the best you can We will get our money today or tomorow and I will direct it to Father and he can lift it for you
We are going down the mississippi valley and I think that we will get to see the 47 regiment
direct your letters to Indianapolis til I right and let you no where you we are
