Dear Beloved Wife with the greatest of pleasure and mutch respect it is that I can once more enjoy the preasant oportunity of righting you a fiew lines to let you no that I am well and I hope when those fiew lines comes to hand they will find you all in the enjoyment of good health. Well Cordelia I have not had aney letter from you for better than one week and I am getting very uneasey about you I thought sure that I would get one from you today but the mail came / in this evening and I did not get aney letter and I felt almost sick to think that I did not get one well Cordelia I wish that I was at home with you tonight but I will have to be out on guard all night tonight well Cordelia I must quit righting for this evening and I will finish it tomorow Well Cordelia I am going to finish my letter but I thought I would wait until after the mail came and I got a letter from you and I was very glad to hear from you but sorey to hear that you had not got that money yet / But I shant send aney more money in a letter well I thought I would not finish my letter this morning and I would finish them little girls finger rings the least one is for Sarah Catherine and the other one for Nancy Jane and little Mary Emma will have to wait until pap comes home and then she will be big enough to no what it is but she is to little yet well Cordelia it rained all night last night and it is still raining yet the rest of the boys are all well and I am still well and harty 

 

Well Cordelia I was sorey to hear that you had to sell your cow but it was the best thing that you could do for it will cost more to keep her than the cow would be worth in the spring Oh Cordelia I wish I was at home with you so nothing more at preasant but I remain your Affectionate Companion
