Dear Beloved Wife with the greatest of pleasure and mutch respect it is that I can once more enjoy the privilige of righting you a fiew lines to let you know that I am well and harty and I hope when those fiew lines comes to hand they will find you and the little girls and all the rest of the friends in the enjoyment of good health Well Cordelia we are still hear yet but we are expecting marching orders every minute our knapsacks were sent to town yesterday and stored away until we get back / I think that we will go from hear to Lagrange but I cant tell where we will go from their But if we stop at Lagrange I will right you another letter just as soon as we get their But when you right direct your letters to Memphis and they will follow us if they can get to us but when we get out among the rebels they cant get the mail to us Well Cordelia I dont no what to right for there is nothing going on hear worth mentioning so I guess I will have to close for this time
