Charles B. Robinson
Charles B. Robinson was born in October 1833 near Wellsville, Ohio. The family moved to Gallia County, Ohio, around 1839. He earned a living as a farmer and stock dealer. He supported the Democratic Party, and he ran unsuccessfully for county treasurer in 1869. By 1880, he was working as a fire insurance agent in 1880 in Vinton, Ohio. He married Victoria Fogg on March 11, 1889. He received an appointment as a local postmaster in July 1893, and he served until July 1897. He died of heart failure in Ohio on February 7, 1899.
