It is now several weeks sence we heard from you. We received the Camp Journal the other day, but should like know how your health is, after your hard march. Their has been all kind of storys told about the reg. one is that the 11th was all cut to peaces, and they they were all taken prisenors. another, that they were ordered to Washington to stay there time out, another they had started for home, and that their bagage had arrived here, and that you would be here next sabbath morning. But we see by a letter in the pres this evening that you are in Yorktown. We have not heard from Lewis nor Laprellet for several weeks

Do you have any Providence papers? if you do I suppose you know what is going on here better than I can tell you.
