Camp Wood Feby 10/62

 

Dear Brother

                        This is the effects of four hours leve of absence from camp this after-noon which is the first I have had for the last month. A one horse Captain cannot do as he pleases in the Armey by a long ways he cant he cant

 

            I am right well and ready for a fight which I expect we will have in a short time. Gen Mitchells Division has been crosing Green River to day which I think is some sign of a forward move
