Dear Brother
I sent thirty (30) dollars to Louisville to day by our Capt to send to you he expressed it in the American Express Co If you receive it please let me know as soon as possible The excitement is fast dying away here Business was resumed to day. Buell's Army is expected here to night I am going to try and get into the 34th Ills Regt 'till I can get to my Regt if I can not get away any other way I wrote to you yesterday I presume you will get it soon But the Post boy is waiting to take the mail to town so I must close
