Dear Mother
I recvd your kind and aff and was right glad to hear from you and that you were all well as it is more than I have been since I wrote you last I have had the dipthera but I am all over it now. Everything is very quiet here now we are not doing much here now. our Regt has moved to Norfolk and I shall go to day or tomorrow. If I could get all settled up here with the Regt I would not stay any longer here but go to the army some where else.
